Katie's Learning Laboratory

I had the pleasure of heading the science lessons for summer school for incoming 1st-3rd graders this past June.  The summer camp was for 3 days.  Each session lasted 45 minutes.  On Day 1, we studied electricity.  Day 2 was adaptation.  And Day 3 was "Air is All Around You."

Dolphin Label
We do a big unit toward the end of the year on ocean animals.  We watch videos, write reports, make fact books, write opinion pieces on which ocean animal is our favorite and why, compare and contrast animals... It's a big deal!  The students love it.
(When you download the page, the labels will go to the correct place.)
